Contact Management

Your Contacts dashboard is your audience at a glance. Every person who has subscribed through one of your forms or purchased a product — free or paid — appears here as a contact record.

What's in a contact record

Each contact includes:

  • Name and email address
  • Tags assigned to them (for segmentation)
  • Phone number
  • Total amount spent — the cumulative value of all their purchases from you

Adding contacts

Contacts are added to your list in four ways:

  1. Via an Email Capture block — when someone subscribes through an Email Capture block embedded on one of your pages
  2. Via a Form — when someone submits a standalone form built with the Forms feature
  3. Via a product — when someone purchases a free or paid product, a contact record is created immediately
  4. Manually — you can add individual contacts by hand, or import a list in bulk from your dashboard

When you import a list and add tags, you decide whether those tags start their automations. By default they don't, so you can tag an existing list without emailing everyone at once. See Triggers for how this works.

What you can do from the contacts dashboard

  • Search and filter your contacts by name, email, or tag
  • Click into any contact to view their full record, purchase history, and tag list
  • Manually assign or remove tags
  • Delete a contact

Your contacts list is the foundation of your email marketing — broadcasts and automations are all sent to segments of this list.
