Evergreen Deadlines

An evergreen deadline is a personalized countdown timer that starts the moment a specific tag is assigned to a contact. Instead of a fixed date that's the same for everyone, each person gets their own private deadline.

How it works​

  1. You create a deadline linked to a specific tag (e.g., evergreen-launch-x) and set a duration (e.g., 7 days).
  2. When a contact receives that tag — for example, when they subscribe via a form — their personal 7-day countdown begins immediately.
  3. During those 7 days, your automation sends them emails on the schedule you've configured.
  4. A Countdown Timer block on your sales page — set to Evergreen type and linked to this deadline — displays each visitor's unique deadline in real time.

Setting up an evergreen deadline​

Go to Contacts → Evergreen deadlines and click New deadline. Configure:

  • The tag that triggers the deadline
  • The duration (number of days)

Then combine it with a tag automation and a sales page with a Countdown Timer block.
