Email Capture Form
The Email Capture block is your primary tool for growing your email list from any page or lesson. Drop it anywhere on a page, configure a few options, and it's ready to collect subscribers.
Adding an Email Capture block
In the editor, type /email to insert the block. The block appears on your page with a default form layout. Click on the block to open its settings panel on the right.
Configuration options
In the settings panel, you can configure:
- Show first name — adds a first name field to the form. Enabling this reveals the option to also show a last name field.
- Show last name — adds a last name field (only available when first name is enabled).
- Show phone number — adds a phone field with a country code selector.
- Tag on subscribe — automatically assigns one or more tags to every contact who submits this form. Use this to segment new subscribers from the moment they join (see Tags).
- Lead magnet — attaches a free product to the form. Every subscriber automatically receives access to that product without going through a separate checkout. Perfect for offering a free PDF, video, or mini-course as an incentive to subscribe.
What happens after submission
When a visitor submits the form, TinyPages:
- Creates a contact record with their information
- Assigns any tags you've configured
- Grants access to the lead magnet product (if configured)
- Triggers any automations associated with the assigned tags
See Offer a lead magnet and Pre-launch waitlist for real-world examples.
