How Automations Work
Automations are email sequences that send automatically when a specific event occurs. Once set up, they send a series of emails to a contact on a predefined schedule — for example, an email on Day 0, Day 1, Day 3, and Day 7 — without any manual action from you.
Automations require a Pro plan.
How automations are created
Automations are created automatically — there's no "New automation" button. TinyPages creates one automation for each of your products, one for each of your tags, and one special New Contact automation that fires for every new subscriber regardless of source.
To see and edit your automations, go to Automations in your dashboard. Click on any automation to open it and add or edit the emails inside.
Adding emails to an automation
Inside an automation, you add emails one by one. For each email, you set:
- The day — when to send it relative to the trigger (Day 0 = immediately, Day 1 = next day, etc.)
- Subject line and preview text
- Content — written in the same editor as all other emails
Common uses: welcoming new members, following up after a purchase, delivering a free email course day by day, or nurturing new subscribers over several days.
