Access Types

When you create a product, you choose what your customer receives after their purchase. TinyPages calls this the access type. There are three options.

Member area​

Your customer gets access to a course or other content in your member area. You build the lessons in TinyPages, and your members follow them after logging in. It is the right choice for an online course, a coaching program, a workshop, or any content followed lesson by lesson.

You can host your course videos directly in TinyPages and add them to your lessons, so members watch everything without leaving your member area. Your Pro plan includes 100 hours of video and 100 hours of audio in total, across all your files. When you get close to either limit, you can free up space by deleting files you no longer use.

Download​

Your customer receives a file right after their purchase, for example an ebook or a guide in PDF, a workbook, a template pack, or a ZIP archive. The confirmation page shows a Download now button, and the download link is also sent by email. You can upload a PDF, DOCX (Word), XLSX (Excel), CSV or ZIP file, up to 50 MB. To sell an ebook, choose this access type and upload it as a PDF.

A download product can be paid in one go or in installments, but not as a subscription.

After the purchase, the confirmation page shows an Access your purchase button. It opens the link you entered in Redirect buyers to: a private Facebook group, a Calendly booking page, a private podcast, a Google Drive folder, or any other destination. Your customer also receives the link by email.

Changing the access type​

You can change the access type of a product at any time from the Product access card on the product's page.

Be careful with a product that already has members. As long as its access type is not Member area, its members can no longer reach its lessons. TinyPages shows a warning when you make the switch. Switch back to Member area and they get their access back.
