Tutorial: Webinar or Event Registration

Collect registrations for a live webinar or workshop, send automated reminder emails before the event, and follow up automatically after it's over.


  1. Go to Pages → click New page → build your registration page:
    • Write a clear headline ("Join the free live workshop on [topic]")
    • Include the date, time, and format (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
    • Keep the page focused — one goal, one action
  2. In the editor, type /email to insert the Email Capture block.
  3. In the block settings → assign a Tag on subscribe (e.g., webinar-june-12).
  4. Click Publish on the registration page → share the URL across your channels.
  5. Go to Automations → click on the automation for the tag webinar-june-12 → write the automated email flow:
    • Day 0 — Confirmation: "You're registered! Here's the joining link: [link]. Add it to your calendar."
    • Day before the event — Reminder: "Tomorrow at [time] — see you there! Here's the link again."
    • Day of the event — "It's today! Join us at [time]: [link]."
    • Day after the event — Replay or follow-up: share the recording or slides, and include a pitch for a relevant paid offer.
  6. After the event, go to Broadcasts → click New broadcast → write a post-event message (replay link, summary, or a special offer for attendees).
  7. In the Send to field → choose webinar-june-12 → send.

Every registrant receives the right email at the right time — from confirmation to follow-up — without any manual sending from you.
