Tutorial: Pre-Launch Waitlist

Collect interested leads before your product or program is ready, then notify them the moment it launches. A waitlist builds anticipation, gives you a warm audience on day one, and helps you gauge demand before investing in full production.


  1. Go to Pages → click New page → build your waitlist page in the editor.
    • Include a compelling headline ("Be the first to know when [product] launches")
    • Describe what they're signing up to be notified about
    • Keep it short — the goal is just to capture the email
  2. In the editor, type /email to insert the Email Capture block.
  3. Click on the block → in the settings panel → assign a Tag on subscribe (e.g., waitlist-launch-may).
  4. Click Publish → choose a slug (e.g., waitlist) → confirm.
  5. Share the page URL on your social channels, in your current email list, or anywhere your audience is.

When your product is ready to launch:

  1. Go to Broadcasts → click New broadcast.
  2. Write your launch announcement — generate excitement, describe what they're getting, and include a clear link to your checkout or sales page.
  3. In the Send to field → select waitlist-launch-may.
  4. Click Send now (or schedule for the exact date and time you want the launch to go live).

Only the people on the waitlist receive this email — everyone else on your list is unaffected.
