Lesson Navigation & Progress

Inside any course or program, members can navigate through all lessons from a sidebar and track their progress as they go.

When a member opens a product in their member area, they see a sidebar that shows all the lessons in the course, in the order you've arranged them. They click any lesson title to open it.

A lesson shows only the content you've created in the editor, without distractions. Members can scroll through text, watch videos, listen to audio, and download files, all without leaving the page.

Releasing lessons over time (drip delay)​

Sometimes you don't want a new member to see the whole course on day one. Releasing lessons progressively keeps people focused on the current step instead of skipping ahead. It's especially useful for programs designed to be followed week by week.

You can delay when any lesson appears:

  1. Open the lesson and go to its settings (the same panel you use to publish it).
  2. Turn on Drip delay.
  3. Choose the number of days after which the lesson should appear.

The delay counts from the day each member enrolls in your product. If someone enrolls today and a lesson has a 7-day delay, that lesson becomes available for them one week from now. Another member who enrolled a month ago already sees it.

Until then, the lesson stays visible in the sidebar with a padlock next to its name. Members can hover over it to see the exact date it unlocks, so they know something new is on the way.

Progress tracking​

Members mark their own progress:

  1. When they finish a lesson, the member clicks the check mark at the top right of the lesson (hovering over it shows Complete lesson). They can also click the check mark that appears when they hover over the lesson in the sidebar.
  2. The lesson then gets a green check in the sidebar, and the course's progress bar moves forward.

Opening a lesson isn't enough: until the member clicks, the lesson stays unfinished. Clicked by mistake? The same button now shows Undo, and another click takes it back.

Progress is tracked per member, per product, so each person's progress is entirely their own. Members see it as a lesson count at the top of the sidebar and as a percentage on each course card in their member area. You see it in the Progression column of your members list.
