Connect Your Domain

By default, your TinyPages site is at yourname.tinypages.co and your emails are sent from a TinyPages address. You can connect your own domain (an address like yourname.com) to put your site, your emails, or both under your own brand.

In short
  • Your site, your emails, or both move to your own domain.
  • You copy a few technical lines, called DNS records, where you bought your domain. TinyPages tells you which ones.
  • This is part of the Pro plan.
Pro feature

Connecting your own domain is part of the Pro plan. On the free plan, clicking Add your custom domain prompts you to upgrade. If your Pro plan ends, the domain is removed from your account: your site goes back to your TinyPages address, and your emails are sent from a TinyPages address again.

How to do it​

  1. Go to Settings → Domain and click Add your custom domain.
  2. Enter your domain name and choose what to connect: your site and your emails, or only your emails.
  3. TinyPages shows you the DNS records to add. The instructions tell you exactly what to enter.
  4. Log in to the company where you bought your domain (OVH, GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.) and add the records exactly as shown.
  5. Back in TinyPages, click Verify. Your site and your emails are verified separately, and each switches to your domain once it is confirmed.
Tip

DNS changes can take from a few minutes to a few hours, sometimes up to 48 hours, to take effect. If verification fails the first time, wait a bit and try again.
