Custom Prompts

Custom Prompts are reusable instructions you write once and apply to any content with a single click. If you find yourself typing the same kind of instruction repeatedly — "make this shorter", "rewrite this in my tone", "turn this into bullet points" — save it as a custom prompt and never type it again.

Creating a custom prompt

  1. Go to AI Assistant in your dashboard and click the Prompts tab.
  2. Click New prompt.
  3. Give it a name that clearly describes what it does (e.g., "Make it conversational", "Bullet point summary", "Email sign-off").
  4. Write the instruction — exactly as you would type it into the AI input field.
  5. Save.

Your prompts are listed as cards. Click any card to edit or delete it.

Using custom prompts in the editor

There are two places where you can inject a saved prompt:

In the main AI prompt box (blank page or email): Click the icon → select a prompt → its content is inserted into the input field. You can then edit it before generating, or send it as-is.

In the inline AI bubble (on selected text): Highlight any text → click the AI button → click → select a prompt. The AI applies the instruction to your selected text and generates a replacement.

Examples of useful custom prompts

NameInstruction
Make it shorterCondense this text. Keep the core message, remove everything that isn't essential.
More conversationalRewrite this in a warm, direct tone — like talking to a trusted friend, not presenting to a boardroom.
Add a CTAAdd a clear, compelling call to action at the end. Keep it short and action-oriented.
Bullet summaryTurn this into a concise bullet-point list of the key takeaways.
Email subject ideasGenerate 5 subject line options for this email. Vary the angles: curiosity, urgency, benefit, personal.
