Inline Writing Tools
In the editor, the AI can rework any passage you select, right where you're writing: rephrase it, fix its grammar, shorten it, or follow your own instruction. It works in your pages, emails, lessons and blog posts.
How to use inline writing tools
- Select any piece of text in the editor.
- A small toolbar appears. Click AI to open the writing actions.
- Choose the action you want:

| Rephrase | Rewrites the selected text for clarity, precision, and natural flow |
| Fix grammar | Automatically corrects errors and replaces the selection |
| Make shorter | Condenses the text while preserving the main message |
You can also type a custom instruction in the text field to request any other transformation.

The AI rewrites the text. You then have three options:
- Replace: the new version takes the place of your selection.
- Insert below: your original stays, and the new version is added under it.
- Try again: you get another version with the same instruction.
To give a different instruction, close the result and select your text again.
When to use it
- Stuck on how to phrase a benefit? Select what you wrote and click Rephrase.
- Your email is too long? Select all of its text and click Make shorter.
- Want a different style? Type a free instruction like "make this warmer" or "use a more direct tone".
You always choose which version to keep.
